Can I make my gift in someone's honor or memory?
Yes! Select your gift amount and click "continue." After you enter your payment information, you will be able to dedicate your gift and send an email letting them know. If you would like to send an acknowledgment through the mail, please leave your request in the comment section of the donation.

Can I make a qualified charitable distribution (QCD) from my IRA?
Yes! Gifts to Reach Out and Read (EIN 04-3481253) can satisfy all or part of the required minimum distribution from your IRA. Gifts from your IRA may offer additional tax benefits to you and your family – please consult a financial or legal advisor to discuss your situation. For your QCD, your IRA administrator should make the check payable to Reach out and Read and mail it to PO Box 411868, Boston, MA 02241-1868.
Can I donate stock?
Yes! Gifts of appreciated stock you’ve held for more than a year may offer a double tax benefit – allowing you to deduct the full market value of the stock and avoid paying capital gains taxes on stock that has appreciated in value.
